News - Monday, 3rd of May, 2004
Howdy doo everyone. Sorry for the lack of newsbytes lately, but my new "job" has been keeping me very busy.
Anyway, I just recently rediscovered one of my very favorite comics of all time: Batman Remix. Go read the whole damn thing.
Also, Sortelli is the coolest. To all those coming from EOI, I say to you - STAY! THERE'S NO SEXY ELVES BUT IF YOU WANT THEM I'LL DRAW THEM LIKE THE TOOL I AM.
PS: Sorry I haven't gotten to Moloch yet. I've been doing a comission and it's taking all my time. But, it should be ready today.
Late! - Thursday, 22nd of April, 2004
Sorry! Moloch won't be ready until tonight. But, to hold you over until then, check out the online comic I'm doing for The Acting Corps. It's a little tame by SMBC standards, but I think it's good work. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page. Again, sorry it's late. I'll make sure to do something to amend my lateness.
Also, I found out that Threeboy et al are back at it.
Coolness - Sunday, 18th of April, 2004
Hey, I got a lotta cool links from a lotta hip folks. So, I'd like to return the favor to Carzorthade and Walking is Still Honest.
I'd like to give a hearty thanks for all the voting. I've been completely floored by how many people turn out to vote every single day. You people are supercool. I'll have a third edition of Moloch for you by Wednesday (possibly soon). Remember, you don't have to wait to vote until the Moloch page is up. Even if you've already voted for this 24 hours, just click the vote button again. It won't give me another vote, but you'll still get to see the comic.
Also, Jeph is cool. Not to mention Adis. Oh, and Squidi.
New Moloch Page - Wednesday, 14th of April, 2004
New voting reward is UP. The word is that Baby Moloch is precious.
Also, thanks to Bigger than Cheeses for the LOVE.
I'm gonna be trying a new little feature today, where I provide hip and cool links to topics that interest me.

50 - Monday, 12th of April, 2004
Hey, we broke the top 50 at BuzzComix. Look for page 2 of Moloch on... let's say Wednesday...
Also, go check out Instant Classic and Zap!
MOLOCH! - Friday, 9th of April, 2004
YO BIZzITCHES! Brand spankin' new voting reward for all y'all. It's a miniseries featuring SMBC's very own Moloch, God of Fire. Moloch has appeared in a number of SMBC episodes including this'un, this'un, and this'un.
Who loves you, huh? ME, that's who. Who makes a voting reward that is superior in quality to the main comic itself? ME.
ALSO, go read Banish Ed. It's sweeet.
Top 100 - Wednesday, 7th of April, 2004
Whoop! We cracked the top 100 at Buzz Comics. Considering that the site's been up barely a week, I'd say that's damn impressive. Your reward? ARCHIVES! You can also click the link at the top of the page. I'll try to make it prettier when I can.
Additionally, judging by the success of this voting rewards business, I feel like I should keep putting up cool stuff. So, hopefully within a week, I'll have something really awesome for you guys. The plans are already in the making...
Also, go check out Spells and Whistles because it's cool (especially if, like me, you have a soft spot for humor-RPG comics).
Elftor is the coolest.
New Web Design - Tuesday, 6th of April, 2004
It's entirely cosmetic, but I think it looks a lot nicer.
The infamous Far Side comic has been relocated. It is now a voting reward. I really dig this whole voting reward thing, so please leave a message as to what you'd like to see. I've seen a few different things on various websites. Some of the cooler ideas include unfinished comics, alternate comics, or comics featuring minor characters from the strip (in my case it'd probably be something like Moloch, or maybe just a spinoff based on a random comic). There's also more typical stuff, like background and that sort of thing.
Monday, 5th of April, 2004
Alright. Here's the deal. A bunch of people seemed to think that the original (now removed) April 5th comic was somehow a "total rip" of a Far Side comic. If anyone had bothered to look at the original Far Side panel, they might have noticed that the drawing was identical to my comic, except the sign on the door was changed. So, that leaves two possible conclusions: 1) I think I'll get away with stealing one of the most celebrated panels by THE most celebrated single panel cartoonist short of John Nash -or- 2) IT WAS A PARODY.
Against my better judgement as well as my cartoonist ethics, I've taken down the original image and replaced it with a new comic. So, on the plus side, loyal readers, you're getting a double dose today.
I'll probably put up the later as a voting reward or something.
Additionally, I'd like to make it perfectly clear that the main reason for the removal is my concern over copyright issues. If a snotty fifteen-year old know-it-all from North Dakota doesn't get the joke, copyright lawyers for a long-retired cartoonist probably won't either.
PS: I hate to end a post on a down note. So, allow me to add that I really appreciate all the support I've been getting since the comic went back up. Aside from this Far Side business, everyone's been upbeat and awesome, and I'm already pulling about 100 hits a day. BOOYA.

Three new comics are in the archive, thanks to Reva.
Voting reward is now available.
Found a few more comics on my girlfriend's computer. Some of them don't even SUCK.
Also, the following people are cool: Maniac Frog.
That is all.
Additionally, congrats to Josh Sortelli for getting wanged - the dream of cartoonists everywhere.

Alright, I found a few more comics around the Internet, but I'm still missing quite a number. The search goes on...
Go check out the forum. It'll be hoppin' again soon, I hope...

SMBC is back. I don't seem to have all the old images, so if you have any panels that aren't in my archive, please drop me a line.
